Our Policies

Booking & Appointment Policy

  • Appointments Only: We do not accept walk-ins.

  • Cancellations: Please notify us at least 24 hours in advance. Cancellations made within this time will incur a fee.

  • Late Arrivals: If you're running more than 15 minutes late, please notify us as soon as possible. We may need to reschedule if there is insufficient time for your service.

Warranty Policy

  • Covered: Our 10-year warranty protects against bubbling, peeling, and film defects after the tint has fully cured.

  • Not Covered: Peeling from rolling windows down too soon, scratches, or damage caused by the customer.

  • Repairs: If an issue arises, we will inspect the tint and, if covered, will redo it at no additional cost

  • We aim for 98-99% perfection in every installation, understanding that while we strive for precision, a small margin for error may exis

Aftercare & Maintenance Policy

  • Curing Time: Tint takes approximately 30 days to fully cure.

  • First 3-4 Days: You may notice some haziness or imperfections, which is normal. These will disappear as the tint settles.

  • Window Rolling: Rolling down windows too soon may cause peeling, which is not covered under warranty.

  • Cleaning: Use only ammonia-free cleaners to maintain the tint.

LEGAL DISCLAIMER

  • Front Window Tinting: Tinting on front windows is illegal in BC. We apply light tints only at the customer’s discretion.

  • Windshield Tinting: We do not offer windshield tinting services.

Privacy Policy

At Tint Theory, your privacy is important to us. We collect personal information such as your name, phone number, and email solely for the purpose of responding to your inquiries, processing bookings, and providing course updates.

We do not share, sell, or rent your information to third parties. All data is handled securely and used only to improve your experience with Tint Theory Academy.
